Three Lessons from Young Entrepreneurs

(1) Many successful entrepreneurs of the 21st century did not start with big companies. Emre Kılınç, for example, started selling handmade phone cases from his bedroom. After two years, he opened a small workshop and hired five people.

(2) Failure is often part of the story. Zehra Aksoy's first online bookshop closed after six months because she couldn't find enough customers. She studied her mistakes, changed her plan and opened a second shop for students. This time, it worked.

(3) Technology helps entrepreneurs solve local problems. Ozan Er, a farmer's son, designed a cheap sensor that tells farmers when their fields need water. Now farmers in his region use less water and save money.
