My grandfather was a very talented man. When he was a child, he could play the saz, and he could speak two languages: Turkish and Bosnian. He couldn't swim until he was twenty. One summer, he took lessons, and in the end he was able to swim across a small lake. Later, he managed to build a small boat with his own hands.

As a child, Defne could draw well, but she couldn't paint with watercolours. In high school, she joined an art course. After months of practice, she managed to finish her first watercolour painting. In her final year, she entered a national competition. She wasn't able to win first prize, but she succeeded in getting an honourable mention. Thanks to that, she was able to get a place at a fine arts faculty.

When Kaan was ten, he could run very fast, but he couldn't climb trees. At sixteen, he joined a climbing club. Climbing was hard at first; he wasn't able to hold the rope for long. However, he kept practising, and finally he managed to climb a ten-metre wall. Last summer, his team tried to climb Mount Erciyes. The weather was terrible, but after eight hours they could reach the top. Kaan was proud because he succeeded to finish the climb without help.
