A Day at My Boarding School – by Hannah
I'm Hannah, and I go to a boarding school in Scotland. I live at school from Monday to Friday. Every day, I get up at 7 a.m. and have breakfast in the canteen with my friends. Lessons start at 8.30. I usually have lunch at 12.30, and after lessons I often play badminton. Right now, it's 8 p.m., and I'm writing this blog in the library. My roommate is studying for a quiz next to me!
Look at the model. Find one sentence about Hannah's daily routine and one sentence about what is happening right now. Which tense does she use in each sentence?
Write a similar blog post (70–90 words) about a school day at your school. Describe your routine with the Simple Present and at least two adverbs of frequency. Then write what is happening at the moment with the Present Progressive.

How to Beat Exam Anxiety
Many students feel anxious before exams. This is normal, but too much anxiety can be a problem. Here are three tips.
First, make a study plan. Good time management helps you study a little every day, so you don't feel stressed the night before the exam.
Second, don't be a perfectionist. Nobody is perfect, and small mistakes help you learn.
Third, take a break and do something you enjoy. For example, you can join the badminton club or the art club. Exercise and hobbies reduce stress.
Remember: Exams are important, but your health is more important!
